Then go with Honourshine's suggestion.
[Perception] You roll a 17 (required 10). Success!
With your natural response already on full display, you figure that you might as well agree with Honourshine. And besides, you suspect that no matter how friendly the company, these past few days must have been taxing on the reclusive mare.
For as long as you have known her, there was ever little she cherished more than time spent alone in silence with a good book. Such times you allowed her then, and much in the same manner, choose to allow her now.
Honourshine: "Thought so. Have a good night, then, you two. I'll see you at breakfast."
Moonflower: "Yuh uh!"
You bid goodnight to Honourshine, and as she leaves, you turn your attention to the young bat pony standing next to you. As expected, her eyes do not meet yours.
You grin at the enthusiasm, and lead your friend into the concealing shade some few steps away. There, on the soft sands of the starlit beach, you and Moonflower embrace. For a lingering moment, your lips meet hers, until her hat comes off, and she hungrily begins to trail downward.
After giving her a quenching taste of what is to come, you stand firmly above her, and peer into the oracle's shining gaze. Then, gently as the rolling of the ocean waves upon the shore, you begin to make sweet love together...
You take a moment to catch your breath, then push yourself up on shaky legs. Moonflower, meanwhile, seems content to share sticky hugs and nuzzles with your magic clone.
You spread your wings and take off to chase down a wild cloud drifting by. You have lost track of time β and of how many times. To say that you are blissfully spent begins to sound like an understatement.
You catch a small fluffy cloud, and push it down to shore, where you densen it with water. Truth be told, you are beginning to fear that you alone may soon no longer be enough to fully satisfy the growing cuddlebug.
With the rain cloud full, you place it above Moonflower, and give it a kick. You are not sure whether her nigh-insatiable drive comes from being a bat pony or an oracle, or if matching an adolescent mare simply challenges your own limits as a stallion.
You land in the heavy rain next to her, and let the water wash the past hours away. Whichever it is, you are glad to have your ring of clone. Without it, you would certainly have to either get creative, or get help... or both.
Once you are both clean and dry, you and Moonflower cuddle together on the beach, watching stars above. You realize that while the sky may be different here, what lies beyond remains familiar.
Curious, you take a peek through your lens of honesty, but find that neither the moon nor the stars seem to change. It does, however, reveal what appears to be some kind of faint barrier far in the distance, encircling the entire town.
Moonflower: "Y'know, Blazer..."
You turn to look at the thoughtful bat pony, and ask what is on her mind.
Moonflower: "Whenever Honourshine's bein' flirty with ya, she always calls you her big brother. Did you notice that? Do you thinkβ?"
You implore the oracle to keep her wisdom to herself just this one time.
Moonflower: "Heeheehee! Well, you started doin' it too, didn't ya? I think it's super cute."
Of course she does, you tell her, patting her on the head. She is an only child, after all. And while whether you are too is yet unknown, you do wonder how differently you would act otherwise. With enough luck, you expect, time will tell.
